De Lindenhof is the restaurant of chef-owner (patron-cuisinier) Martin Kruithof and Marjan on the Beulakerweg in Giethoorn. You eat in a homely restaurant with a large garden and a kitchen garden of its own, and after dinner you can stay the night in a suite, lodge room or the Chefs Cottage.
De Lindenhof is a warm, homely restaurant with suites, next to a large garden with a stork’s nest at the far end. Along the terrace of the lodge rooms and the Chefs Cottage runs a long kitchen garden, where the kitchen team picks vegetables and herbs. Martin Kruithof draws inspiration from nature and the watery landscape around Giethoorn and cooks classic and surprising dishes. The cooking combines regional dishes with French and international cuisine.
Maître-sommelier Pieter-Jan and head chef Lennard work in the service and the kitchen. Martin previously worked at the German three-Michelin-star restaurant Im Schiffchen in Düsseldorf. De Lindenhof has two Michelin stars: the restaurant received the first in 1996, the second in 2005.
At Restaurant De Lindenhof you can have lunch and dinner, stay overnight in a suite or cottage, have breakfast, book a package with dinner and an overnight stay, take a cooking workshop, go on a water safari and arrange catering or a private dinner at home.
